Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
This service assists parishes with the establishment and ongoing formation and development of RCIA Liturgy, processes and teams in the diocese and provides resources and information regarding the initiation of older children, youth & adults.

RCIA Lenten Seminar: This seminar will focus on the understanding of Lent, and will take a closer look at the Scrutiny Readings. Dates TBA.
Sacraments of Initiation (SOI)
This service assists local parish communities to implement diocesan policy regarding the Sacraments of Initiation for children. It provides resources and information and in servicing for parish sacramental coordinators and parish workshops.
SOI Meeting: Two time slots to choose from: 10:00-11:30 AM or 7:00-8:30 PM at the Bede Heather Centre (formerly known as the IFM). Wednesdays:

Adult Confirmation
This is a community celebration for those who have received both the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist. If you are above the age of 16, and would like to receive the sacrament of Confirmation please contact us.
Catechesis Day: Saturday, 24th August, 2024, 9:00 AM at the Bede Heather Centre (formerly known as the IFM).
Adult Confirmation: Wednesday, 25th September, 2024, 7:30 PM at St Patrick’s Cathedral.
Visual Display Guidelines
We encourage every parish and school to ensure that everyone who is involved in preparing for the installation or replacement of a visual display system, or involved in the preparation and operation of presentations for liturgical celebrations, is familiar with these guidelines.
Liturgical Ministry Formation Courses
Ministries for Formation include Ministers of the Word, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Communion to the Sick and Dying and Ministers at the Altar.
Comprehensive training for ministers who wish to serve at the altar during Mass for their parish.
All applications need to be endorsed by your parish Priest prior to attending the first Introductory session.
Upon completion of the final session, certificates will be issued to your local Parish to be distributed and an order of commissioning.
